Lecicarbon A (Sodium hydrogen carbonate 0.500 g, sodium dihydrogen phosphate 0.680 g) is licensed for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years old and Lecicarbon C (sodium hydrogen carbonate 0.250 g, sodium dihydrogen phosphate 0.340 g) which can be used in children under 12 years old.

*The time taken for an oral laxative to take effect can range from 6 hours to 3 days4. It can be unpredictable knowing when a laxative is going to take effect. Lecicarbon works within 15 – 30 minutes1,2.
